How to get to the conference venue

DIGNITY2020 takes place at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Copenhagen .

From the airport

Copenhagen Airport is located approximately 15 km outside the city center, and is easily accessible by train, metro, bus and taxi.

Train

Trains to the center of the city depart from the platforms in Terminal 3 every 10-20 minutes depending of time of day. It takes around 20 minutes to reach Copenhagen Central Station. From here you can take bus 5C (direction: Sundbyvester Plads or Copenhagen Airport) straight to the conference venue. Get off at Klaksvigsgade. It takes around 5 minutes.

Metro

The metro station is located in a covered, direct extension of Terminal 3. The Metro runs every 4–6 minutes during the day and evening hours, and every 15–20 minute at night. It takes around 10 minutes with the M2 line (direction: Vanløse St.) to reach Amagerbro St. From here you can take bus 5C (direction: Husum Torv or Herlev Hospital) straight to the conference venue. Get off at Ørestads Boulevard). It takes around 5 minutes.

Bus

Bus 5C departs from the airport every 15 minutes during the day and evening, and every hour during the night (direction: Husum Torv or Herlev Hospital). It takes you straight to the conference venue in around 30 minutes. Get off at Ørestads Boulevard.

Taxi

Taxis run from directly outside Terminal 3. It costs around 300 DKK to reach the conference venue.

Tickets for bus, train and metro

Tickets for bus, train and metro can be purchased at DSB's ticket office in Terminal 3 or at the ticket machines – also in Terminal 3. Please note that the ticket machines do not accept notes, only coins and credit cards such as MasterCard, VISA, etc.

You will need a 3-zone ticket to reach the conference venue. It costs 36 DKK for a single ticket, which is valid for an hour. It can be used in both trains, bus and metro.

If you plan to travel a lot by public transport during the conference, you can buy a City Pass Small covering zones 1-4 (the larger part of Copenhagen) valid for 24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours.

From the central station

Copenhagen Central Station is located in the heart of the city, close to the conference venue by bus or taxi.

Bus

Bus 5C departs right outside the central station across from Tivoli approximately every 5-10 minutes during the day and evening, and every 30 minutes during the night. It will take you straight to the conference venue (direction: Sundbyvester Plads or Copenhagen Airport). Get off at Klaksvigsgade. It takes around 5 minutes.

Taxi

Taxis run from directly outside the central station. It costs around 100 DKK to reach the conference venue.

Tickets for bus, trains and metro

Tickets for the bus, train and metro can be purchased at the ticket machines at the central station. Please note that the ticket machines do not accept notes, only coins and credit cards such as MasterCard, VISA, etc.

You will need a 2-zone ticket to reach the conference venue. It costs 24 DKK for a single ticket and is valid for an hour. It can be used in both trains, bus and metro.
